These changes were prepared in the development build between 4 and 8 October, ahead of the next player test. This is a development roundup; the public server’s running build determines which changes are available there.
New features
- Party combat recap. Compare damage dealt, healing and damage taken after a group boss fight, and inspect your actual loot from the recap.
- Your own combat log. The Mine view makes it easier to follow your contribution during a group fight, including damage from shared ailments.
Improvements
- Readable group fights. Combat actions play out in sequence, using the characters’ attack timing so it is easier to see who acted and what happened.
- Clearer item comparisons. Item previews lead with the item’s own stats. Your equipped item shows its values alongside the changes to stats and DPS, and empty Wardstone sockets appear as rings.
- Consistent reward views. Loot, gold receipts and sell confirmations use clearer item and reward visuals.
Class changes
- All classes — dual specialisations. Selecting, saving and renaming builds is easier on touch screens and in the web client. The active build is clearer, and long specialisation names fit the selection menu.
- All classes — build timing. Equipment, skill order and specialisation changes apply to your next battle. An ongoing fight keeps the build it started with, and the character view explains that timing.
Bug fixes
- Boss loot delivery. Group boss rewards are delivered after the kill instead of waiting for the next login. Reward views show the actual items that dropped.
- Daily quest turn-ins. Tracking a completed daily collection quest now points you toward the NPC who accepts it.
- Quest guidance. Ready one-time quests stay in the quest log, and main quest instructions keep the correct objective when you change areas.
- Popup dismissal. Clicking or tapping outside item previews and other supported popups closes them.
- Balloon travel. Travel remains available when landing positions change, rather than refusing a player standing at the new flight pad.
Performance & reliability
- Consistent boss state. Delayed dungeon updates no longer undo a boss kill that has already been confirmed.
- Smoother combat recovery. Group fights retain an action replay history to handle delayed updates and reconnects more consistently.
